Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to and use of KeepBill websites, apps, and related services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
The service
KeepBill provides software tools for shop billing, ledgers, inventory-related records, messaging integrations, and related features. We may add, change, or remove features as we improve the product.
Eligibility and accounts
- You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of shop and GST details you enter.
- You must keep control of the phone number used for OTP sign-in and of any devices signed into your shop.
- Owners are responsible for inviting staff and for actions taken under their shop account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse the service, probe or disrupt our systems, or bypass security.
- Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
- Use messaging features to spam or violate WhatsApp / Meta policies.
- Resell access to the service without our written permission.
Your data
You retain ownership of the business data you enter. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that data solely to provide the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Plans, trials, and payments
Some features may require a paid plan or trial. Fees, renewal, and cancellation terms will be shown at the time of purchase or in-product. Taxes may apply. Failure to pay may result in limited or suspended access.
Third-party services
The product may rely on third parties (for example Firebase for authentication and Meta for WhatsApp). Your use of those features is also subject to those providers’ terms. We are not responsible for outages or policy changes of third-party platforms.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. KeepBill is a software tool; it does not replace professional accounting, tax, or legal advice. You remain responsible for GST filings and statutory compliance.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KeepBill and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim (or INR 5,000 if you have not paid).
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion via our Data deletion process. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we must do so for legal or security reasons.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived.
